An estate agency in Walton On Thames is joining a nationwide property industry appeal to collect items for local food banks (Rochills the food bank if it’s an individual one you are supporting).
Rochills, based in 69 High Street Walton On Thames Surrey KT12 1DJ, will be collecting items throughout June and delivering them to Local Food Bank.
It is taking part in Agents Giving Day, which happens on 16 June, and is organised by the estate agency industry’s charity – Agents Giving.
The agency’s owner, Rochills, said: “The cost of living crisis has driven up demand for the support food banks provide people in our community. FOOD BANK NAME is doing so much for less fortunate and vulnerable people across Walton On Thames.
“We will be offering a drop-off point for people to donate non-perishable food items at our office. We will then deliver what has been collected to the food bank.
“We know from experience how generous and kind the people of Walton On Thames are. We’re confident that if we pull together, we can make a positive difference to the lives of local people.”
