Joe has lived in and around Walton on Thames all his life and is very enthusiastic about the local area it's facilities and schooling.
Where Is It?
The Rydens area is located on the southern side of Walton on Thames town centre with access to Walton on Thames Mainline station. It is situated close to the Halfway and provides easy access to town.
What Does It Feel Like?
The area is well served by a selection of shops locally known as ‘The Halfway’ which includes a number of small shops and services, including a bakers, convenience stores, a pharmacy, dry cleaners, hairdressers, camping shop and several fast food establishments. It is also host to several first-rate restaurants such as the modern and stylish Spanish Tapas Bar and Restaurant ‘La Terraza’ and the Ashley Park Hotel serving traditional pub food. Sports fans can enjoy Walton and Hersham FC playing at the Sports Ground, adjacent to the Stompond Lane Tennis and Athletics Club.
The Housing?
The Rydens area offers excellent residential housing and amenities, including some fantastic larger 1920/30’s family homes along with some highly sought-after bungalows along private residential roads like Stoke Road, Ringmore and Shaldon Way and detached properties can be found in The Furrows, Holly Avenue, Cardinal Drive and Wolsey Drive.
Getting Around?
Walton on Thames mainline station provides a fast link to Waterloo and is approximately a 30 minute car journey to London Heathrow. The M3 and M25 Motorways are easy accessible. There is a local bus service which takes you to neighbouring towns such as Hersham, Weybridge, Esher, East & West Molesey, Hampton Court, Kingston upon Thames, Shepperton and Staines.

The area also provides a selection of first class schools including Rydens Enterprise School, Bell Farm, Burhill and Cleves School, Cardinal Newman RC and Walton Oak as well as a number of popular private schools.
